Golden Milk

Medicinal Ayurvedic Drink

In Ayuervedic Medicine it is used for thousands of years, turmeric has numerous healing properties, also known as saffron, we can find this fresh root in Indian markets.
Turmeric is highly anti inflammatory, anti microbial and antioxidant.
Helps keeping our bones and joints wealthy.
Golden Milk is originally made with fresh cow milk, but I do a vegan version with vegetal milk (oat, almond, rice...)

Enjoy a cup of this drink of Gods once a day.

Ingredients:

200ml of a vegetal milk

1 piece of turmeric or 1 tea spoon in powder

1 piece of ginger or 1 tea spoon in powder

Cardamom

Black pepper grain

½ cinnamon stick

1 pinch of nutmeg or 1 tea spoon in powder or grated

Preparation:

Heat the vegetal milk in a pot

Add the turmeric, ginger and all the spices roughly smashed

Let it boil for 5 to 10 minutes to infuse the flavours

Strain the ingredients and pour the mix into a cup

Enjoy!

Banana Oatmeal Pancakes

Power Breakfast

Oat is one of the best cereals we can choose for our breakfast, because it gives you a good amount of carbohydrates, proteins and fibers.

It's a very nutritious and energetic food, thats helps the digestive system while keeps a balanced nervous system.

Oat also has the virtue of helping to lose weight, due to their ability to regulate sugar levels in the blood.

Banana is also very nutritious, rich is carbohydrates, fibers, vitamins A , B6, C, folic acid and minerals like potassium and magnesium.

This delicious fruit will give you energy, helps reduce high blood pressure, relaxes the muscles and nervous system.

Ingredients:

½ glass of oat flakes

1 egg

1 spoon of chia seeds

½ banana

Cinnamon

a bit of almond milk & coconut oil

Preparation:

Mix all the ingredients in a blender until is homogeneous

Spread a small bit of coconut oil on the pan and slow heat it

Pour the mix on the pan (the amount dependes how big you want your pancakes)

Let it cook for 5 minutes, turn the pancake and let it cook for 3/4 minutes more

On top the pancakes you can put banana slices, blue and red berries
