Yoga is a holistic way to live, to look at life, to integrate what arises all through the nine months of pregnancy.
Yoga is the perfect activity to be developed all through the gestational period, not only for women that already practice yoga, but also for women that never practice before and women that do not exercise regularly.
This class will focus in three techniques; Pranayama (breathing exercices), sequence of Asanas and Yoganidrá.
Strenght & Energy:
Going through the Asanas strengthen our arms, legs, back, shoulders and hip. All body parts that help support the weight of the belly, and need to be toned.
Breathing deeply during the yoga practice has a positive effect on our nervous system and stimulates the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps to go into a state of relaxation, promoting sleep and digestion.
During pregnancy our body feels the need to stablish a new equilibrium, both physical and psychological. The practice of Asanas and Meditation help in that process.
Yoga teaches breathing techniques that can help during labour work, specially reducing stress.
